We are pleased to welcome submissions from authors and agents alike.

Authors should bear the following points in mind before submitting to any publisher:

  • Have you compiled a synopsis?

This should be no longer than two A4 pages and should give the editor a complete summary of the book, chapter by chapter. Please remember this should not be confused with a back cover blurb, and therefore authors should not hold back any key details of the story. Remember to include how the story ends, an editor does not like to be left hanging!

  • Is your work laid out properly?

Your work should be presented in a clear and concise manner. Where possible, please submit your work on CD or floppy disk as a WORD document. If you are submitting your work in hard copy, please print this in double line spacing, with a font no smaller than 10 and no larger than 12.

  • Have you read our terms and conditions?

We would appreciate it if you would take the time read our terms and conditions.

  • Have you enclosed return postage

Due to the high volume of submissions received at our office, we are unable to return an author's work without the appropriate postage. This can be sent in the following ways;

  1. Stamped addressed envelope
  2. Money order
  3. Cheque payable to Willow Bank Publishers
  4. Loose postage stamps
  5. Paypal payment. (please contact our office for further details)

We look forward to receiving your synopsis and sample chapters in the first instance, and should you have any queries that have not been raised here, please do email us

Note to all our authors & visitors:

With the constant demands on our planets resources, re-cycling is an issue that should be taken very seriously.

Willow Bank Publishers have always re-cycled packaging material and paper where possible and we would like to encourage our authors to do the same.

Here are some tips to help:

·                 Send your work to us on disk – not only will this save you heaps on postage, it will also cut down on the amount of paper needed.

·                 When sending your work to us, send loose stamps not stamped addressed envelopes. We will then be able to recycle your original packaging,     where appropriate, or re-use other packaging material to return your work – if necessary - to you.

·                 After a long day writing your next novel, be sure to switch your monitor & printer off when you shut down your computer. You may be surprised to know that devices left on stand-by use the same amount of electricity as when they are in use.
