If your work is accepted for our lists, Willow Bank Publishers may choose to offer either a traditional or author-funded publishing agreement.

Many first time authors struggle to get known in this very competitive field. For authors whose work meets the required standard set by our publishing panel but whose commercial viability is not quite strong enough, we provide a cost effective publishing option.

Under our author funded publishing agreements, authors can expect to receive our full attention and commitment. Your work will be produced to our usual high standards and the same methods of promotion and marketing are followed for all titles.

Self publishing and author funding is becoming more and more common, and for some authors this is the best way to get a foot on the publishing ladder.

We are unable to give costs for publishing your work without viewing your full manuscript. The fee required will be dependent on a number of factors, and can be paid in installments if required. Payment can be made by cheque or postal order or via all major credit/debit cards through Paypal.

In early 2006, Willow launched its new mainstream imprint, Fen Books.  Fen Books is open to all genres, but authors preferably need to be known in the literary field. Authors are not required to fund any publishing agreement under Fen Books, and may, if appropriate, be offered a modest advance against their royalties.
