Robert Le Normand was born in St Helier, Jersey, in 1954. As a child he moved to the mainland with his parents. Although leaving school with no formal qualifications, Bob had caught the writing bug at an early age, and was earmarked as a 'future author' by his English teacher. Now residing in Wales with his wife, Pearl, Bob is the owner of a number of small businesses, including property investment, and wedding car hire. He and Pearl have been together for fifteen years and have seven children between them. Bob's passion is cooking, and Monday night is now affectionately known as Bob'll cook night, a now popular event with up to fourteen mouths to feed! Although his love for Wales is strong, Bob hopes one day to return to Jersey.
